Lincolnshire Voters want Boris Johnson to resign or for Greater Lincolnshire MPs to call for a vote of no-confidence
After the latest shocking revelation that Prime Minister Boris Johnson attended a party at 10 Downing Street, we decided to ask our readers if they trust the Prime Minister and if he should resign.
We asked 2,000 of our readers from areas that include Scunthorpe, Skegness, Boston, Lincoln, and Grantham what they thought about the Prime Minister. The results were not surprising.
When asked if the Prime Minister could be trusted, all 2,000 of those that took part in the Poll said No. We asked if Boris Johnson should resign and 9/10 of them said yes. The next question in the Poll was could Conservative MPs be trusted and 7/10 of those who took part said No. When asked if they would vote for their local Conservative MP at the next General Election, 7/10 said No.
Yesterday people were shocked when Boris Johnson smiled repeatedly when asked if he attended the Downing Street party. Since that interview, we were inundated with emails from our readers who said Boris Johnson smiling was an insult to all those who lost their lives.
Greater Lincolnshire voters would like to see their local Conservative MP call for a no-confidence vote in Boris Johnson. However, according to our readers, the likes of Lincoln MP Karl Ian McCartney, Boston & Skegness MP Matt Warman, Grimsby MP Lia Nici, and Cleethorpes MP Martin Vickers have no interest in what they want.
