Lincolnshire Police Need Help Identifying Man Over Lincoln Assault

Police Have Issued A Picture Of A Man They Want To Speak To Over An Assault In Lincoln

A man was assaulted in Lincoln. Lincolnshire Police are now asking for people to come forward to help with their investigation.

 

Lincolnshire Police have today issued a picture of a man they want to speak to in relation an assault that happened on Sunday 19th May.

Police are asking for people to come forward if they know the man in the picture. They have said they want to speak to him after an assault took place between 00.35am and 00.40am in Walkabout, High Street, Lincoln.

According to a spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, they believe the man in the picture may have information in relation the assault.

A spokesman said:” We would like to trace the man in the image described as being in his mid to late 30s, with ginger hair and a beard, wearing a beige jacket, white t-shirt and blue jeans.”

The police have said the man in the picture is in his late 30s with ginger hair and a beard, wearing a beige jacket, white t-shirt and blue jeans.

Although the image is blurry, Lincolnshire Police are hoping it is good enough for people to know who he is.

The victim who is a man in his 20s was treated at hospital after receiving serious injuries in the assault.  

According to Lincolnshire Police, two men have been arrested and released on bail pending further inquiries. The two men are aged 35 and 59.

If anyone has any information regarding the assault or know the man in the picture, Lincolnshire Police would like them to contact them.
