Lincoln Woman charged with attempted murder after suspected Lincoln stabbing

  • A 34-year-old woman from Lincoln has been arrested and charged with attempted murder

 

Lincolnshire Police have today confirmed that a 34-year-old woman from Lincoln has been charged with attempted murder after a man was initially in a life-threatening condition. It follows a man in his 60s who was allegedly stabbed and left with life-threatening injuries at Kenner Close on Sunday, August 7.

The man who was treated for injuries to his neck, face, and leg is now in a stable condition. Roxanne Staples, of Kenner Close in Lincoln was arrested shortly after police arrived and was charged on Monday, August 8th.

Roxanne Staples has been charged with multiples offences that include attempted murder and threats to kill which relates to an earlier incident and which involved a different individual.

Lincolnshire Police who said the incident took place at 12.49pm has confirmed that Roxanne Staples will appear at Lincoln Magistrates Court today (August 9th 2022).
