We look at dog-friendly cottages in Cornwall. With its stunning landscapes, scenery, and coastline, Cornwall has become one of the most visited and popular holiday hot spots in the UK. Each year millions of tourists from home and abroad visit Cornwall for a family holiday, and according to recent reports, the number of people who visit Cornwall with their dogs has increased.

Cornwall is the perfect place to bring your dog. It has miles of coastal and inland paths to explore with your dog. With so many beaches available, your four-legged friend can have some great fun. It’s important to check which beaches in Cornwall are dog-friendly. Some beaches have restrictions during peak season.

There are over 270 dogs friendly accommodation in Cornwall, all of which are very affordable. With so many Cornwall dog-friendly cottages it’s no wonder why the number of people who bring their dogs has increased.

With so many different dog-friendly cottages in Cornwall available, we decided to look at just some of them.

Elm Cottage, Boscastle

cornwall dog friendly cottagesElm Cottage which is in the wooded Valency Valley is a 17th century Grade II listed cottage. The cottage which is just metres from the river’s edge has been refurbished to its original charm. It has beautiful low beamed ceilings and a log burner.

It is a perfect cottage in Cornwall for a dog and a romantic break. It sleeps up to four people and two dogs are allowed in this accommodation.

 

The Old Engine House, Bodmin

dog friendly cottages cornwallThe Old Engine House which sleeps two and two dogs are welcome is located near Tretoil on the edge of Bodmin Moor. It is a stunning converted engine house with lovely gardens and decking. The surrounding area is perfect for dogs. There are lots of places to walk which includes Bodmin and the National Trust Lanhydrock House.

It is a great Cornwall accommodation for dogs and is highly recommended.

 

Honeysuckle, Duloe

With low beams, a featured fireplace and a short drive into the countryside to take your dog for lots of walks, what’s there not to like.

 

Bohurrow Farm Cottage, Roseland

The cottage is in a great location with stunning views out to sea and comes with a large garden that is perfect for your four-legged friend.

There are lots of great places to explore and lots of walks available to keep your dog happy.

 

Penn Cottage, Lerryn
