Local Grimsby Man To Appear On Married At First Sight

Grimsby born model Brad Skelly is looking for love on the new series of Married At First Sight.

Brad Skelly, a 27-year-old local Grimsby lad is hoping Married At First will find him the love of his life as he is set to appear on the popular reality show.

In the upcoming series of Married At First Sight UK, the Grimsby born model is set to walk down the Aisle in the hope his new marriage will last longer than most previous couples on the show.

Brad Skelly, a 27-year-old model, will be joining the cast of the popular reality show, which brings together strangers in the pursuit of love. This season promises to be an exciting one, with the addition of the show’s first transgender bride.

The Grimsby local lad is no stranger to the world of reality television. He previously appeared on Channel 4’s Celebs Go Dating, where he caught the attention of Geordie Shore icon Charlotte Crosby.

Known as an “ex-party boy,” Brad is now looking for a partner who shares his love for spirituality.

In a short video introducing Brad, he said: “I would leave my wife for Megan Fox, in Transformers 2 though, because she’s got a tan. I would most definitely not walk down the aisle if my wife made baby noises.

“It is a massive ick of mine and I cannot bear it when people do that. I just want the ground to swallow me up when they do that.”

He added: “I would make the perfect husband because I am loyal, I’m genuine and I’m kind-hearted. On my wedding day, I’ll be most nervous about my mum and sister’s reactions and opinions.

“They are both very, very strong, independent women, and sometimes it can clash with my opinions and views. I hope my new wife is open to spirituality.

“Due to being a meditation teacher, it pulled me out of a very dark place, and it enables me to really accept the flow of the universe as it is.

“I deserve love because, in the past, I have always been trying to find it externally within somebody else. Now I’ve found it within myself, I really want to share that with somebody who has a strong connection.”

He also let the public in on one of his bad habits. He said: “Something I do that my wife might not like is sometimes within me explaining spirituality it can be condescending or patronising.

“So maybe if she’s holding something back, or consumed by her ego, she might get defensive about things I’m trying to help her with.”

Now in its seventh series, Married At First Sight UK continues to captivate audiences with its unique premise. The show pairs strangers together and marries them off without any prior knowledge of each other.

We then follow their journey to see if their relationship blossoms or falls flat. This season’s cast includes individuals from various regions across the country, including Brad from Grimsby. It’s worth noting that some of the participants are friends with previous contestants, adding an interesting dynamic to the show.

One of the most notable aspects of this season is the inclusion of the show’s first transgender bride. This marks a significant milestone for Married At First Sight UK, as it embraces diversity and represents a wider range of experiences. The addition of a trans bride not only reflects the evolving nature of relationships but also sends an empowering message of acceptance and inclusivity.

As the latest season of Married At First Sight UK approaches, we can’t help but anticipate the excitement that awaits us. Grimsby native Brad Skelly’s appearance adds a local flavour to the show, and his journey towards finding love promises to be engaging.
