  • Stagecoach have announced more Skegness bus cancellations – leaving customers very angry

It seems that Stagecoach have still not got their act together and are annoying customers by cancelling more services.

The bus company who are ignoring calls for explanations why the problem has not been sorted have today announced more bus cancellations for the Skegness area.

Every day this week and for the past few weeks, passengers in Skegness have seen a large amount of bus routes cancelled, leaving many people finding alternative arrangements to go shopping or to get to work.

Stagecoach is claiming the reason why they continue to cancel bus routes is down to staff shortages, but it seems they are in no rush to sort out the problem.

It also seems that Lincolnshire County Council are sitting on their hands and ignoring the problem while passengers suffer.

The following Skegness bus services have been cancelled for today

Service 56 from Skegness to Lincoln at 4pm and service 56 from Lincoln to Skegness at 6pm are cancelled.

Service 57 from Skegness to Spalding and service 57 from Spalding to Skegness were also cancelled this morning.

Buses at 6.35am, 8am, 10.05am, 2.35pm and 7.05pm from Skegness to Chapel St Leonards are cancelled today. The return journeys at 7am, 8.50am, 10.40am, 3.10pm, 7.35pm will also not be running.

There are also cancellations of buses within Skegness, with all buses on service 3 from Skegness to Anchor Lane between 2.20pm and 10.50pm not running.

Lincolnshire News & Lifestyle have reached out to Stagecoach to ask when the problem will be sorted out, as yet we have had no response. We have also reached out to Lincolnshire County Council for an explanation.
