Man Dies in A52 Skegness Crash

  • 36-year-old man dies in A52 Skegness crash

 

Lincolnshire Police have announced that a 36-year-old man died on Friday, December 10 after a serious crash on the A52 Croft Bank, near Skegness.

The single vehicle collision happened around 9.12pm on Friday. Although emergency services tried to save him, sadly he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Lincolnshire Police who have said they have informed the man’s next of kin, believe he was heading towards Skegness when the accident happened.

While an investigation into the accident took place, the A52 was closed until 6.30am Saturday morning.

Police are now asking anyone who was in the area at the time of the accident or saw the black Audi A5 which the victim was driving prior to the crash to contact them.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police is asking for people who were in the area to check their dashcam to see if they have any footage that may help in their investigation.

For people who have information, they can contact 101 quoting the incident number 444 of Friday, December 10.
