Grant Duller an ex-Lincolnshire Police officer is accused of not be honest when he filled in the application to join Lincolnshire Police
An ex-Lincolnshire Police officer who was based at Lincoln Police Station is to face a accelerated misconduct hearing at Nettleham Police Headquarters on Monday, December 13.
Ex-constable Grant Duller allegedly breached the honesty and integrity and discreditable conduct standards of professional behaviour in respect of his completion and/or submission of job applications and/or vetting forms to the police service.
Grant Duller is accused of not be honest when he filled in the application to join Lincolnshire Police. That includes failing to add on his application that he had been disciplined during his time with the prison service.
It is claimed that not only did Grant Duller fail to tell Lincolnshire Police that he had been disciplined, but he also failed to mention he received a final written warning from the prison service, or that he had worked as nightclub security.
It is alleged that between 19 June 2018 and 11 February 2020 he failed to declare that:
   he had been involved in disciplinary proceedings within HM Prison Service, and/or
   he had been the subject of adverse findings and/or.
   he had received a final written warning / warning as a result of those findings.
   he failed to be open and honest in his completion and/or submission of the application form in that he failed to declare his previous employment as nightclub door security.
The alleged conduct, if proved, amounts to gross misconduct.
