Two Women Arrested By Humberside Police After A Fight Outside Grimsby Esso Petrol Station

Humberside Police have confirmed that two women have been arrested after they were called to a fight on Albion Street outside the Esso petrol station.

 

On Tuesday 14th November, Police were called to Esso Petrol Station on Albion Street in Grimsby after reports of a fight taking place with two women.

According to reports, one of the women was thought to be in possession of a knife. The two women aged 33, and 30, were known to each other and both were arrested on suspicion of affray.

A spokesman for Humberside Police said that no one was seriously injured in the incident but are asking for witnesses to come forward and help them with their enquiries.

A spokesperson said: “Two women are in our custody after officers were called to attend Albion Street in Grimsby following reports of an altercation last night (Tuesday 14 November).

“We received a call at around 11.10pm reporting of a fight between two women who were known to each other, and one of the women is believed to have been in possession of a knife. Officers were deployed, and a 33-year-old woman and 30-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of affray.

“Thankfully no one is thought to have sustained serious injuries as a result of the incident. We would appeal to anyone who has any information or has CCTV or dashcam footage that may assist with our enquiries, to contact us on non-emergency number 101 quoting log 592 of 14 November.
