Crash On A1 Causes Slow Traffic Near Grantham

  • There has been a second A1 crash in Lincolnshire

 

Lincolnshire Police have reported there has been another crash on the A1.

Police are currently on the scene and have warned of delays and slow traffic.

A police spokesman has said the crash is in the village of Great Ponton, which is just south of Grantham. Drivers are being advised to stay clear of the area if possible.

A white car which was involved in the accident has received minor damage to its bonnet but will need to be removed by a recovery truck.

Lincolnshire Police have not closed the road but are advising drivers that traffic is currently slow.

This is the second incident today after a car which was involved in an accident on the Great North Road near Grantham ended up on its roof.
