Multi-Vehicle Crash On A1 near Grantham

Lincolnshire Police have released details of a multi-vehicle crash on the A1 at Barrowby near Grantham and advising motorists to avoid the area.

Emergency services attended the scene at 11.14am. The crash involved several vehicles. The collision happened just before the A52 junction at Barrowby.

It resulted in a large number of debris covering the A1.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “This is a collision which involved several vehicles, reported to us at 11.14am. Given the number of vehicles involved and a significant number of debris spread across the road, the road is likely to be closed.

Lincolnshire Police have said they will provide an update later today.
