A Man Who Admitted Burglary Will Be Sentenced In December 2023

A Spalding man who has been remanded in custody faces jail after he admitted carrying out a third house burglary in a two-month crime spree.

 

A man who pleaded guilty to two domestic house burglaries in Lincolnshire in July this year faces a prison sentence.

Paulius Strabeika (27) who was remanded into custody after he pleaded guilty to two domestic house burglaries in Lincolnshire during July has had his sentence adjourned due to another domestic house burglary charge.

Strabeika, of Holbeach Road, Spalding, was charged with another domestic house burglary in Essex. He was charged with domestic burglary at an address in Mount Crescent, Brentwood, Essex, on 30 August this year.

The new domestic burglary case has been sent to Chelmsford Crown Court. Paulius Strabeika pleaded guilty to the charge.

A hearing at Lincoln Crown Court was told Strabeika had previously pleaded guilty to stealing household items to a value unknown from a property in Chaldean Way, Spalding, on 6 July this year.

He also admitted to taking footwear, toiletries and other household items from a house in Chestnut Avenue, Donington, on July 25.

All the cases have been transferred to Lincoln Crown Court for sentence where it is expected to be sent to prison.

He is currently remanded in custody at Peterborough util his sentence which will take place on 4 December after a probation report.
