Skegness Man denies murdering Bethany Vincent and her nine-year-old son Darren

On May 31st, 2021, the community of Louth were shocked when a mother and her nine-year-old son were murdered at their home on High Holme Road, Louth, on May 31

Daniel Boulton, 30, of Alexandra Road, Skegness was arrested with their murder and today he appeared at Lincoln Crown Court to give a plea.

At Lincoln Crown Court Daniel Boulton pleaded not guilty to murdering his ex-partner Bethany Vincent and her nine-year-old son Darren.

Daniel Boulton, is accused of stabbing his ex-partner and her nine-year-old son at their home on High Holme Road, Louth. He was also charged with assaulting PC Stephen Dennis with intent to resist arrest on June 1 and a further offence of burglary at Hubbards Hills Cottage in Halfpenny Lane, Louth, where it is alleged clothing, food and drink were stolen between May 30 and June 2.

Boulton, who showed no emotion when the charges were read out appeared in court and only spoke to confirm his name and to enter his not guilty plea.

He was arrested in the Hubbards Hills area of Louth on June 1

The court case has been set for 13th January 2022 and could last up to four weeks.

Daniel Boulton was remanded in custody until the court case.

Another young child was found at the home unhurt, Lincolnshire Police said.
