People from all over Scunthorpe and North Lincolnshire are invited to a jobs fair
Great news for people looking for their first or new job. A job fair is coming to Scunthorpe with employers having thousands of jobs available.
The jobs fair will include major employers who are looking for rising talent. Those employers include 2 Sisters Food Group, EMJ Plastics and North Lincolnshire Council.
The jobs fair will be held at the Baths Hall in Scunthorpe on October 19th.
Employers at the job fair will be looking to arrange interviews with suitable candidates, and some are even hiring on the spot.
This is going to be an important jobs fair with so many people in the current climate looking for work.
Rob Waltham, leader of North Lincolnshire Council, said the event was an opportunity to get “lots of young people into their first employment because they’ve had a tough time towards the end of the pandemic”.
“There are a great many jobs available across the area and a similar number of people looking for work,” he added.
“We must be in a position to support our businesses to get the people and the skills they need to meet their ambitious plans for growth.”
