London Mums, the only free and independent peer support group for mums based in London, and Eddie Catz, the London-based children’s Edutainment Centre, announced today that they will host the annual London Mums Christmas party as well as the second London Mumpreneurs’ Christmas fair on 20th November at the Eddie Catz in Putney from 5 pm to 7 pm (for address and directions check below).
Children and parents alike will be entertained by Amanda Frohlich, founder of Amanda Action Club, well known as the entertainer to stars like the Beckhams, comedian Catherine Tate, Apprentice runner-up Saira Khan and Sarah Beeney from the TV show Property Ladder. Amanda’s show is like a personalised and Christmas-themed physical development class for pre-schoolers using Amanda’s upbeat versions of classic nursery rhymes and carefully selected stimulating toys. Amanda will also exclusively present her new second music album.
Kids will have the chance to meet Santa in a grotto, get a free gift and enjoy free photo sessions well ahead of Christmas (in time to prepare the Christmas cards) as well as a free face-painting.
Monica Costa, founder of London Mums and mumpreneur, said: “Our London Mums’ parties have become regular gatherings for our members from across London and real opportunities for mums to enjoy the benefits of face-to-face meetings in a very pleasant environment.”
Alongside the party there will be a small mumpreneurs’ fair, the second event of this kind jointly organised by London Mums and Eddie Catz. During this event London Mums will officially present its newly published, free editorially – driven magazine, including articles by Rod Campbell, Elizabeth Pantley, Sue Atkins and an exclusive interview with BBC star Amanda Hamilton.
“Maria Johnston, owner of Eddie Catz, and I are both mumpreneurs and we were inspired to create a joint event designed to help emerging companies and to inspire mothers who would like to start their own business ventures. This is the second of a series of mumpreneurs’ events we are planning to organise in the near future”, added Monica Costa.
Tickets are £10 per child (babies under 8 months go free) including a light meal and a gift from Santa and £4 per Mum/Adult including a glass of mulled wine, a mince pie and a goody bag. To book visit the Eddie Catz online shop http://shop.eddiecatz.com.
