If you’re looking for a nostalgic experience, hop aboard the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway. This miniature railway, one of Britain’s oldest, offers a delightful 2-mile ride along the Humberside Coast, linking Cleethorpes Promenade and Lakeside.
Choose between the steam or diesel train and enjoy the picturesque coastal scenery along the way. Make a stop at Lakeside, where you’ll find the world’s tiniest pub, the Signal Box Inn. You can also visit Cleethorpes Beach, where the pier extends out to host a tearoom and gift shop.
The Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway is a charming way to explore the Lincolnshire coast and create lasting memories.
Boating Lake, Cleethorpes
Located in Cleethorpes, the Boating Lake offers a range of activities for the whole family. From pedalo and rowing boat rides to a sandpit for the little ones, there’s something for everyone here. One of my favourite things to do in Lincolnshire, and to be honest one of the best Lincolnshire places to visit is the Lincolnshire Aviation and Heritage Centre. I have been here lots of time, and each time it is like a new experience.
Step into history at the Lincolnshire Aviation and Heritage Centre in East Kirby. Relive the World War II era as you explore the original wartime airfield and the Lincolnshire Bomber. Pay your respects at the memorial chapel, which honours the personnel who sacrificed their lives during the war. The centre is open from Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 5 pm, with the last entry at 4 pm. Admission prices range from £3 for children to £7.50 for adults.
Old Hall, Gainsborough
Step back in time and explore the Gainsborough Old Hall, a hidden gem of Lincolnshire. This large, late-medieval manor house was built in 1460 and offers a fascinating glimpse into the past. Frampton Marsh Nature Reserve, Boston

The visitor centre provides a panoramic view of the reserve, with three hides and outdoor benches overlooking freshwater scrapes and scenic views.
