£30 Limit on Petrol To Be Introduced To Grimsby and Cleethorpes Petrol Stations

  • Petrol stations owned by Tesco, Shell, and BP have introduced a £30 limit on petrol during the petrol crisis.

Morrisons, Tesco, Shell, and BP have announced they have now brought in a limit on the amount of petrol you can purchase in Grimsby and Cleethorpes.

Drivers who have been scrambling for petrol have been told that they can only purchase £30 worth of petrol from Morrisons, Tesco, Shell and BP.

As the petrol shortage continues, with news that Boris Johnson will not bring in the army to deliver petrol, motorists are being warned to act sensibly.

Motorists who have been filling Jerry cans with petrol have been told that will no longer be allowed to happen in Grimsby and Cleethorpes.

Petrol suppliers have said there is no shortage of petrol just a shortage of drivers to deliver the petrol.

Morrisons, Tesco, Shell, and BP are asking motorists not to panic buy.

The shortage of petrol has led the business secretary Kwasi Kwarteng to suspend competition law, allowing oil companies to forego the normal rules surrounding communication and help each other resupply the areas that need it most.

The £30 limit does not apply to emergency services.
