About Cleethorpes Beach

Cleethorpes Beach has everything you could want from a traditional UK beach. It has the famous Cleethorpes Pier which was opened in 1873 and built at a cost of £8,000, and it has donkey rides, and water sports.

The soft golden sands of Cleethorpes Beach go on for miles and miles and attracts millions of visitors each year. Children and adults love the beach. Children can go for a nice swim when the Cleethorpes Tide is in or build sandcastles on the golden sands. If you want something more exciting then how about a spot of kayaking, surfing or Canoeing.

In the summer you can spend all day relaxing on Cleethorpes Beach. There is no need to bring your own deck chair, as you can hire them on Cleethorpes Seafront.
