Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein and Jacksonville University professor of International Studies Jorge Majfud will be in a conversation about democracy, immigration, and Gaza this Wednesday, September 4, at 5:30 pm in Terry Concert Hall, Jacksonville University. Open to the public.

U.S. presidential candidate Jill Stein, an activist for workers’ rights and environmental policies and critic of the U.S. government’s role in the Israeli genocide in Gaza, will travel to Jacksonville, Florida, to participate in a conversation with author and Professor Jorge Majfud at Jacksonville University. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, September 4, at 5:30 PM.

Jill and Butch now have ballot lines confirmed in 38 states, are still petitioning in two other states, and have write-in status in 8 states. This means the Stein/Ware ticket expects 517 potential electoral votes, well over 270, to win the White House.

According to Stein’s campaign, “while the Dems focus on trying to kick Jill and Butch off the ballot with lawfare, and continue to fund warfare and genocide, our campaign is fighting for people, planet, and peace.”

Jill Stein has denounced a campaign by Democrats to block her candidacy in many states:

“After that dark, draconian, militaristic speech at the DNC, in which Harris promised a militant border crackdown, endless weapons for Israel, and unlimited expansion of the American war machine, we expected nothing less than for her to double down. They’ve called me every name under the sun and attacked our supporters ―for the simple reason that we weren’t buying it. The groundswell of ‘hope and change and joy’ that surrounded Harris from the moment she entered the race came crashing down with a hard reality check at the DNC, confirmed in her responses to CNN’s Dana Bash last week. Harris has now fully revealed herself as an unabashed, militant right-winger who will carry on the proud Democratic tradition of catering to her corporate benefactors at the expense of our planet and everyone on it.”
