Lincolnshire Firefighters Tackle Christmas Eve Fire in Bourne

Firefighters attended a serious blaze on South Fen Road In Bourne

 

Lincolnshire Firefighters successfully managed a major blaze that ignited on Christmas evening.

Around 8 p.m., the fire erupted on South Fen Road in Bourne. Five fire engines, a high-volume pump, and an aerial ladder platform were dispatched to the scene.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue advised nearby residents to keep their windows and doors closed for safety reasons.

By early morning, the situation was under control, and at about 6 a.m., Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue announced that all crews had departed the scene.

A re-inspection is scheduled for later today to confirm that safety measures remain intact.
