Manchester Airport Terminal 2 Delays Advice
Due to the £1 billion Manchester Airport Transformation Programme, those travelling to Terminal 2 can expect disruptions and changes to their journey during the next couple of years until the work has been completed. The changes include passenger pick-up and drop-off locations.
For people wishing to drop-off a loved one at Manchester Airport, access to the departures forecourt is no longer available and drivers must now go to the new location which can be found on the ground floor of the multi-story car park.
The new drop-off location remains free of charge, but drivers need to be aware that there is limited availability for drop-offs and this location is only for those that are unloading their luggage. For those that wish to have a bit longer will be required to use the T2 short stay multi-story car park. Charges for this car park start from £4 for up to 30 minutes.
For those looking to pick up, passengers will be required to go to the short stay multi-storey car park. If drivers attempt to pick-up passengers in the drop-off locations then a fine could be given.
The disruptions will continue for the next couple of years while the work continues.
