40 Lincoln Jobs Up For Grabs at Walkers Crisps Factory

  • 40 jobs up for grabs at Walkers crisps factory in Lincoln

Great news for people who love crisps and want to work for a well-known brand. Walkers are looking for 40 people to fill jobs at their Newark Road site to meet demand for Quavers.

Walkers are looking for 40 people to start straight away at its Lincoln factory which also makes Quavers, French Fries and Snaps.

Owner PepsiCo are heavily investing in the Newark Road factory. They are spending £24 million to upgrade it to meet demand for Quavers.

There will be space created for new productions lines, and older machinery will be replaced by new up to date equipment.

A Walkers spokesman said: “With demand for these iconic snacks continuing to grow over the past year, the company is looking to hire a number of roles in food manufacturing to support this growth, providing full training on the job and with no experience required.”

Although 15 of the 40 jobs will be temporary, 25 will be permanent. A spokesman for Walkers have said they are looking for people to start straight away and no experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
