Lincolnshire Police Arrest Man On Suspicion Of Murder

A 50-year old man has been arrested by Lincolnshire Police on suspicion of murder in Stamford

A 50-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a deceased woman. On Sunday, December 29, Lincolnshire Police responded to a call at 1:54 pm concerning a property on Northumberland Avenue in Stamford.

Upon arrival, officers found a woman in her 40s deceased at the location. A man from Stamford was taken into custody and remains under detention.

The investigation continues, with a statement from Lincolnshire Police issued shortly before 10 am on Monday, December 30, indicating that officers will maintain their presence at the property. Authorities are seeking information from anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in or around the Northumberland Avenue area.
