A Coronation Street and much-loved actress has caused rumours of is she or isn’t she returning to the famous street.
The popular actress has been seen at the ITV Coronation Street studios which has left fans wondering if she is set to return.
We are pleased to announce that the rumours are true, and Amy Robbins is returning to Coronation Street after six months of leaving the show.

Amy Robbins played Christina Boyd – the mum of Rovers Return pint-puller Daisy Midgeley. She was hugely popular on the show with fans and the cast of Coronation Street.
There were calls for her to return and become a permanent cast member. However, sadly for the time being, Amy Robbins is only returning to Coronation Street for one episode.
Amy, who is the Aunt of Emily Attack returned in January for the wedding of Daisy and Daniel. It is not sure what the storyline is for her return, but insiders have said it will ruffle feathers.
The actress is no stranger to popular shows. Amy has appeared in Holby City, Casualty, and of course The Royal.
Fans of Coronation Street are hoping that ITV bosses see sense and bring her back full-time.
