Humberside Police Investigate Scunthorpe Knife-Point Robbery

  • A robber fled on a bike after a knife-point robbery at a corner shop in Scunthorpe

 

Humberside Police are asking for any witnesses to come forward who may have saw a robber flee on his bike after a serious incident at Ellis store on Cottage Beck Road, Scunthorpe.

The knife-point robbery took place at 4pm on Saturday 2nd September 2021. According to reports, the robber was a male in his 30s. He was wearing a dark hooded tracksuit with white stripes on the bottoms.

The police have not confirmed how much was stolen from the Scunthorpe store, but Humberside police are now asking for anyone with any information to come forward and help apprehend the criminal.

In a statement, a spokesperson from Humberside Police said: “Police are investigating a knife point robbery that occurred at the Ellis store, Cottage Beck Road Scunthorpe around 4pm on October 2.

“Suspect, white male, 30s, wearing dark hooded, dark tracksuit bottoms with white stripes. Left area on a cycle. Call 101 log 405 of 2/10/21. Thank you.”

Humberside Police have said it is very important they catch the criminal.
