In2Town News Today publishes community contributions so that readers around the country know what’s happening in their area – and community organisations have an free outlet to share their community news, events and opportunities.
The community news you share must be original which means it must not have been posted anywhere else. We only accept original content. Please make sure that you include an email address so that we can contact you about your submission.
What we publish
- Info on free events – Please include event name, location, date and time, and description.
- Reports and news from charities, community organisations, clubs and societies
- Info on charity or community-based services – including details of new or ongoing activities
- Sports reports from local football, cricket and other clubs
What we cannot publish
- Articles, comment and opinion pieces.
- Commercial events.
- Political events,fundraisers, meetings or demonstrations.
Once you have submitted your news, we will look through it and make any edit’s that are needed before publishing. We may contact you for further information
