Carnival Divert Ships In The Caribbean Due To bad Weather

Two Carnival ships have been told to change their itineraries due to the bad Tropical Storms heading to the Caribbean.

Carnival Liberty which carries 2,974 passengers was due to visit St. Thomas but instead made a stop in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

A spokesman for Carnival have said that the ship will add a stop in Nassau, Bahamas on Friday to make up for the missing destination.

Carnival Victory which carries 2,758 passengers was also affected and was told to visit Nassau instead of a day at sea due to the bad weather.

Although the storms have been downgraded, The National Hurricane Centre has warned of coastal flooding along the southern cost of Hispaniola and has warned of high winds in Haiti and Cuba as well as heavy rain in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Cuba and the Bahamas.
