Sacramento, capital of the U.S. state of California, lies at the confluence of the Sacramento River and American River. More than 15.3 million people visit Sacramento each year.

The museums
There are some stunning museums in Sacramento. The California State Capitol Museum is a great place to visit. It is free and teaches people about the history of California. Another great museum is the California State Railroad Museum.
The California State Railroad Museum is an amazing place to visit for all the family, especially the little ones. It features trains and railroad cars dating back to the 1860s. You can even have rides on the train.
The California Automobile Museum is one of my favorite museums in Sacramento. It has more than 150 vintage cars and race cars. Some of them date back 120 years. Don’t forget to take your camera.
The music scene
Sacramento has a great live music scene. Each year there are concerts and events that take place, which includes the Sacramento Music Festival.
It is a four-day event that has more than 100 performances as well as dancing and food. There are also Concerts in the Park and lots of other great musical events.
