Two men Drown In Tenerife While Two Others Were Rushed To Hospital For Emergency Treatment
Police have today reported that two men have drowned in Tenerife. According to a police spokesman, another man aged 36, and a woman aged 37 were taken to hospital for emergency treatment.
Emergency services were called at around 1.40 to La Charca de La Laja in San Juan de la Rambla after reports of people in trouble in the sea. Rescue attempt was launched but sadly the two men who have not yet been identified drowned.
These deaths follow a recent report that even though a campaign was launched last year on how to stay safe in the water, 21 people drowned in 2017.
