Mel B lived up to her name of Scary Spice when she appeared as a guest judge on the X Factor with sources on the show claiming she even scared Louis Walsh.
The Spice Girl was not scared to tell the contestants what she thought of them which sent shivers down her fellow judges. One source on the ITV1 X Factor show said she was a female version of Simon Cowell.
Gary Barlow nicknamed Mel B Grumpy Spice after she failed to be impressed with the majority of the acts trying out for the talent competition.
‘Scary Spice Scared X Factor Judges’
Mel B blasted an 18 year old singer called Curtis who she described as “irritating”.
She said: “I found it all a little bit irritating, the overdoing the comedic personality thing,” she frowns.
Scary Spice told a 19 year old student from Peterborough: “I’m going to give you a big reality check, you should not be singing, find something else to do, it’s a waste of time for you, it’s a definite no from me.”
Louis Walsh was shocked by some of the remarks by Scary Spice but a source on the show said she would have brought a reality check to the X Factor show if she became a long term judge.
Another act was told by Mel B: “You look like a pop star, you don’t sound like one”
Gary Barlow who could not believe some of the remarks by the Spice Girl joked to Mel B: “I don’t know how you’re going to sleep tonight.”
