Saigar and Associates Are Pleased The World Bank Has Released $70 million to help Rwanda combat poverty


The World Bank has released $70 million package for Rwanda that will help fight poverty.


Saigar and Associates, Kenya’s leading accounting practice who offer a complete business accounting service including bookkeeping, accountancy, VAT, tax and payroll services to small and medium sized businesses, have welcomed the news that the World Bank has signed off on a $70 million financing package for Rwanda.


The leading business accounting service said the deal which includes a $46 million loan and a grant of $24 million will help deal with serious issues for Rwanda including helping to fight poverty and combatting natural disaster.


According to government reports, the numbers of Rwandans who are living in extreme poverty have fallen to 24 percent in 2011 which is a huge sign of progress with the statistics being 40 percent a decade earlier.


Saigar and Associates, who provide a complete business accounting service in Kenya, agree with the Washington based World Bank that Rwanda’s economic growth will accelerate to 7.5 percent in 2014.
