Langar Hall in Nottinghamshire is something totally different. It is charming, family friendly with staff that tends to your every need, this is a hotel that makes you feel rich and famous, an ideal location for a honeymoon.

When I do hotel and bed and breakfast reviews, I am always looking for something different, something that is not your normal hotel or bed and breakfast, I want accommodation that is either different or something that makes you feel like a king, and this is what I found at the Langar Hall in Nottinghamshire.

Langar Hall in Nottingham on Church Lane, Langar, Nottingham in Nottinghamshire is a magnificent hotel that is set in the Vale of Belvoir, which for people like me who are bad at Geography, it is set between Nottingham and Grantham. The hotel is the family home of Imogen Skirving and was built in 1837 and stands on the site of a great 18^th Century Hall, the home of Admiral Lord Howe and stands in a quiet seclusion overlooking spectacular gardens.

As you approach this spectacular country house which is overshadowed by lime trees you will feel like you have gone back in time in the days where gentleman were out with their guns hunting and the ladies were on the lawn having afternoon tea. The unique Langar country house is also a restaurant that provides food that you will never forget, in fact I was tempted to hijack the chief for a couple of months but thinking about how much he would cost I decided to stick to my own cuisine although I would have liked to receive some cooking tips.

The Langar Hall Country House has twelve well appointed en-suite bedrooms which vary is size and character and are all named after people from Langar’s history. All the bedrooms at the Langar Hall Hotel have a direct dial telephone, digital TV, Free Wi-Fi, trays for tea and coffee. The beds in the room are very comfy giving you a guaranteed good night sleep unless you are there on your honeymoon. The rooms just shout out style and glamour. One thing is for sure, no matter which room you are given; you will experience accommodation that you will find hard to find again unless you come back to the Langar Hall Hotel.

For me the Langar Hall Country House Hotel is the perfect location for a wedding as well as a honeymoon and is the perfect place for a romantic getaway.

The staff provide an excellent service and really do make you feel like royalty and one thing is for sure, other hotel owners should visit this hotel and see how it is done because the Langar Hall Country House Hotel is the cream of the crop.
