The book that Simon Cowell must be regretting to have got involved in claimed that Gary Barlow nearly got sacked last year but it seems Simon Cowell is giving the X Factor judge a second chance to get his act together.
This is great news for Gary Barlow and could be great news for the X Factor show as long as this year’s show allows Gary Barlow to speak freely instead of following a script. On last year’s X Factor show it seemed he was a bit plastic and seemed half of the things he was saying was from a script which made the Take That star seemed very dull and more like a robot than someone who was experienced in the music industry.

Although it is claimed that Gary Barlow was inches from getting sacked last year, the X Factor Boss has now said the Take That singer has earned his place on the panel.
ITV's director of television Peter Fincham said: "Gary quickly established himself as a key member of The X Factor judging panel, drawing on his years of experience in the music industry to help in the search for our undiscovered singing stars.
"I'm thrilled to welcome him back to the biggest show on British television."
It has not been announced as yet but sources on the X Factor show have confirmed that Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh are also coming back to the talent show but Kelly Rowland has not yet been asked to return to the X Factor.
