Not only is it a bit embarrassing going out with someone 15 years younger but getting dumped by someone who is not old enough to get served at a bar must be one of Caroline Flack’s low points.

Caroline Flack got a lot of stick when news broke out that she was dating Harry Styles but the presenter of the X Factor took it in her stride even though fans of One Direction were bombarding her with hate messages.

Well now it seems the diehard fans of One Direction can finally give Caroline Flack a break and leave her in peace with the news that the relationship is no more.

The love affair continued for three months after the 17 year old One Direction singer took a shine to her. But it seems Harry decided that the relationship was moving too fast and was becoming too serious, so he decided to call it a day.

According to reports, Caroline Flack was not expecting the break up.

A source told the Sun: "It was never going to work and Harry knew that.

"The split happened very quickly after Harry made the decision to call it a day. He spoke to Caroline and explained that he thought it was best they break up. They've been spending a lot of time together so it's a blow to Caroline, who was serious about the relationship. After their romance became public it put a lot of pressure on young Harry. He'll be spending a lot of time in the US with the band this year so knows it will be hard to keep things on track."

The source added: "It's an amicable split and they've decided to stay friends.

"Even since Harry ended it they've been talking on the phone." Sources also said band advisers believed the pair's age difference could damage One Direction's clean-cut image.

Caroline Flack will not be on the market for long, the sexy presenter has a lot of male fans including male celebrities who are old enough to take her for a drink and get served at the bar.
