Soap Gossip. Coronation Street Leanne is not happy after Simon tells her that Carla gets drunk all the time and hits him. Leanne is shocked why Peter has let this happen and decides to go and confront Carla at the factory which makes evil Frank very happy.

Frank Watches as Leanne storms into the factory and has a fight with Carla, warning her to stay away from Simon. Evil Frank finds it very amusing as he watches the factory girls separate them but Carla is shaken and turns to the bottle. 'Coronation Street Leanne Attacks Carla' |
At the Rovers Leanne tells Simon that he will never let Carla hurt him again which makes Simon happy. Peter arrives and is not happy after finding out what has been happening. He tells Leanne that Carla has done nothing wrong and demands Simon tells the truth.
Simon shocks everyone when he admits he was lying when he said Carla had been hitting him. He explains that he said it to get rid of Carla and get Leanne back which breaks Peter’s heart. Leanne intended to leave Coronation Street but after seeing how hurt Simon is and how he has turned to lying, she cannot bring herself to leaving again.
Meanwhile down on Coronation Street, Frank is out to get Peter and hears about his run in with Karl over the unstamped betting slip. Frank realises he could have a way to get back at Peter for stealing Carla off him and calls in a mate to investigate how the bookies is being run, will Peter lose the bookies.
Sally is troubled by Frank and starts to think twice about him. She gets suspicious about his behaviour and his dealings and starts to investigate him. Frank is not happy but comes clean about his plans for the factory and tells Sally that he plans to outsource the factory work abroad leaving Sally very unhappy and asking what will happen to her and the girls.
