Gordon Brown week is getting better and better. First we have his Labour Party MPs wanting to force him to resign and now we have Deputy Labour Leader Harriet Harman pleading guilty at City of Westminster Magistrates court to driving without due care and attention.
Maybe that is where the Labour MPs went wrong. Maybe they should have got the magistrates court to charge Gordon Brown with running the country and his party without due care and attention.
Harriet Harman who seems to have nine lives was let off with driving while using a mobile phone as the charge had been withdrawn. The Deputy leader was not present in court but was fined £350 and ordered to pay £75 costs and a victim charge of £15 as well as her licence being endorsed with three points.
Lets just hope Harriet Harman does not claim on her expenses for the fine as we are not sure what she would claim it under, maybe claiming it under ‘I should learn how to drive expenses.”
Unfortunately there is no talk of Gordon Brown Deputy being reprimanded or being told to resign unlike the days when the Conservative were in charge and their MPs only had to sneeze for the Labour Party to ask for them to resign.
