Eastenders Actor Steve McFadden who plays Phil Mitchell has been attacked by his ex-girlfriend.

Eastenders Actor Steve McFadden was attacked by his ex-girlfriend which resulted in her arrest.

The actor was attacked while he was in his car by his ex-girlfriend, Skin specialist Dr Rachel Sidwell, 45 who he has a two year old daughter with.

Dr Rachel Sidwell was arrested on the 14^th February where three police officers attended her one million pound property at 7.30am and took her into custody for questioning. She was later released at 6.40 after spending most of the day in custody.

According to reports, Steve McFadden was left bleeding and had scratches on his back from the alleged attack.

A spokesman for Scotland Yard confirmed the arrest and added: "This morning, a woman in her 40s was arrested in connection with the investigation."
