Soap Gossip. Phil Mitchell has been wondering who has been behind the phone calls and letters not realising that all along it was his son. Ben feels Phil does not respect him and feels that he prefers Jay to him so instead of speaking to his dad he decides to put him behind bars with a statement to the police.
When Phil is arrested, Ben celebrates but the young lad does not understand how much trouble he is going to be in when people find out that it was him all along behind Phil Mitchell downfall. The only person who does know is Shirley but how long will she be able to keep his secret. |

DCI Marsden who is very pleased at putting Phil Mitchell behind bars offers Ben protection but Ben believes he will not need her help and tells her he is not going anywhere. DCI Marsden arrives to tell Shirley that Phil has been charged with murder leaving Shirley wondering who is the witness behind the new evidence. It does not take her long to work out that it was Denise but as we know, Ben is the prime witness.
Ben’s world comes crashing down as Abi slips up and tells Jay the truth about Ben and his dad. Ben is confronted over what Abi has told Jay and Ben tells them the truth leaving Shirley and Jay throwing him out of the house. |
