Soap Gossip. Coronation Street actor Michael Le Vell must be wishing at the moment that the script writers had not written the forth coming storyline as it is mirroring his recent troubles. The actor who plays Kevin Webster is still currently on bail for child abuse allegations even though he had denied the charges that he has been accused of and now it seems the actor will be visiting a police station sooner that he had hoped after script writers have come up with a plot that sees him arrested.
Kevin Webster will be taken down to the police station after being arrested on suspicion of murdering rapist Frank Foster.
Although it may make for great viewing some of the cast members have complained that it is unfair of the bosses of Coronation Street to put Michael Le Vell in a situation where he is filming a scene that involves a police station after his recent troubles.
Coronation Street's grease monkey Kevin Webster is set to be hauled down to Weatherfield nick after being arrested on suspicion of murdering cobbles rapist Frank Foster.
A Corrie source told the Daily Mirror: "The cast think that making Michael do these scenes is particularly cruel. It seems unconceivable these storylines can't be rewritten considering the situation he is in."
Michael has received a great deal of support from the cast of Coronation Street and although a large number of the cast have complained the bosses have said the storyline will go ahead.
A soap spokesperson revealed: "Coronation Street's fantastic mix of drama, comedy and romance will continue into 2012." Hoorah!
