BMI Regional Offer New Route From Aberdeen To Oslo

Good news for passengers using Aberdeen Airport, BMI Regional are offering a route to Oslo which the low cost airline hopes will become popular.

The new route will start from the 28th October 2013 promises to offer value for money flights for their passengers and promises news of more routes from UK airports in the very near future.

Cathal O’Connell, chief executive of bmi regional said: “We are delighted to be launching a direct scheduled service between the cities of Aberdeen and Oslo. Both locations are strategic hubs for oil and gas activity which will offer significant time and efficiency savings for businesses in the North-east of Scotland and Norway.

The low cost airline will be undertaking a rebrand next year where it will be called BMI. The airline hopes that the new branding will help compete against other low cost airlines and intends to beat its competition by offering new on board menus as well as loyalty cards for frequent flyers.

It looks like BMI is intending to offer cheap flight customers a real alternative to EasyJet and Ryanair.
