Jazz vocalist Juliet Varnedoe sings original arrangements of jazz and blues standards from the Great American Songbook. Her smooth, lush vocal style is influenced by Peggy Lee, Anita O’Day, and Chet Baker. Her stage presence evokes the glamorous heyday of the Jazz Age.

Originally from Louisiana, Juliet was nurtured on the soulful sounds of the 20’s and 30’s hit parade in her family’s home in southern Cajun country. Her approach to her material draws from a large repertoire of standards and is influenced by her Louisiana roots and her classical training. Juliet has garnered her expertise and love of swing to bring new life and unique interpretation to American classics. She brings a visually exciting stage presence with high musicianship.

Juliet has performed in prestigious venues and cabarets in New York and is preparing for her debut album and New York shows.  Juliet has the unique talent and glamour that appeals to both cabaret and jazz audiences.
