X Factor Curse hits Jedward Twins |
|
It seems the X Factor Curse has hit again and now it is the turn of the Jedward Twins those super talented twins. Jedward were shocked but not surprised that they had been dropped by their record label Sony after their first single failed to reach the heights of the charts and dropped out of the charts as quick as it entered.
The Jedward Manager and X Factor Judge Louis Walsh broke the news to the 18 year old twins but assured them that this is not the end of the road and claims that he has a major record label interested in them although In2town Lifestyle Magazine cannot confirm this. Sony were hoping with all the hype that surrounded the lads, the single would be a smash hit and then they would release an album but the hype did not turn into record sales and therefore the twins had to go. An insider at Sony said: “The music industry is a very hard industry now a days, a lot of record companies will invest in one record and if it does not turn into a hit then you are lucky if they invest in a second record. A band nowadays has to have the edge which Jedward have, and they have to have great voices, which, we shall just say, there is something missing.” The Jedward twins are not the only ones who are disappointed with the record sales, Vanilla Ice was hoping that their release of Under Pressure would put him back on the map and help him to re-launch his career, but it seems he backed the wrong pony and his hopes of becoming more credible, failed. Louis Walsh has said he is committed to the twins, and claims they have a great future a head of them, which is believed to be in television rather than the recording studio. But do not worry Jedward fans; if you do not have tickets for The X Factor tour then you can catch Jedward on their Irish tour where you can hear them sing.
