Women In Wealth
Women In Wealth and women in business.

ImageWhitney UK and keynote speaker Channel 4’s ‘Secret Millionaire’ Gill Fielding launch the UK’s first dedicated ‘Women in Wealth’™ educational programmes this Autumn 2008.

According to Eleanor Roosevelt: “...In the long run we shape our lives and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility.” Such is the ethos of a new wealth educational programme launched on September 1st 2008 in London, by the UK industry leader, Whitney UK, teaching women how to make money work for them rather than vice versa, as a direct response to industry demand. Women in Wealth’s frontline speaker will be self-made millionaire and entrepreneur, Gill Fielding, who recently appeared as one of Channel 4’s ‘Secret Millionaires’. Other members of the Women in Wealth team include Whitney UK trainer, published co-author of ‘The Advantages of Real Estate’, investor and ‘A Place in the Sun’ magazine columnist, Maria Davies, as well as former Whitney UK student, Naomi Sesay. Naomi, a trainer in Quantum Science and formerly the first producer of Channel 4’s ‘Big Brother’, now devotes her time to property investment, social entrepreneurship and wealth creation.
According to Gill: “I am delighted to be part of the new ‘Women in Wealth’™ brand, particularly as my life mission is to inspire positive wealth acquisition and management in others. Wealth is one of those rare subjects that intrigues everyone to some degree. Most people want it but very few can define it exactly.

“Whilst socio-economic factors clearly contribute to an increased number of working/successful women in the UK, we shouldn’t ignore the fact that in the future more and more young women will find the confidence and inspiration to start-up and drive new businesses*, achieving business leader and KOF status at every level. But regardless of age or background, making money is different to keeping it, whether you are a man or a woman and this new course teaches and inspires from reality not theory.

“And for those who may question the relevance of a women-only driven brand, we are not alienating men, far from it: throughout Whitney UK’s eight years of teaching experience here in the UK, the Managing Director, Iain Edwards and his enterprising team have simply recognised the different ways men and women communicate and learn, away from the sexist debate or burning bras. The ‘Women in Wealth’™ brand has evolved as a result of student demand, designed to help women better define a wealth-building strategy that can, over time, lead to financial freedom via property investment. Even if women have never owned a single piece of property before, we will support students at every stage of the process”.

Based on the principles, knowledge and experience accrued and implemented by entrepreneurs and financially independent women from both sides of the Atlantic, the ‘Women in Wealth’™ educational programme will be holding the following events in the London/M25 region throughout September 2008, as follows, starting with:-
Initial two hour free introductory seminars – Weeks commencing 1st and 8th September 2008 in the London/M25 area (venue tbc).
