are all alumni of the National Youth Music Theatre (NYMT). See tomorrow’s stars today, in the latest NYMT production of ‘Whistle Down The Wind’ adapted by Russell Labey & Richard Taylor, at the Greenwich Theatre from August 13th 2008. Whistle Down The Wind's memorable songs and powerful staging combine epic storytelling with intimate emotion, as the innocence of children collides with the cynical adult world. This critically acclaimed musical is presented by the National Youth Music Theatre at Greenwich Theatre for five performances from Wednesday August 13th to Saturday August 16th. The production is sponsored by the BRIT Trust. Based on the much loved film, the show is an extraordinary and uplifting tale about the transforming power of love, proving that goodness can be found in the strangest of places. Whistle Down the Wind has been said to be ‘Magnificent’ …’A work of immense grace and power ... must not be missed’ and ‘One of the best NYMT shows ever’. Directed by Olivier Award nominee Paul Hegarty, the music director is Jeremy Walker. The choreographer is Gabriella Moleta, with design by Jason Southgate and costumes by Anne Marie Horton.
