Good News as Theme Traders is beating the credit crunch
With the country crying its eyes out and the credit crunch situation preceding the current financial predictions, which are, according to ‘those in the know’ expected to turn into the dreaded ‘recession’ word, life has become a roller coaster for most businesses…

Predictability is something of an issue. Each particular market sector has something to say - expected redundancies, fear of collapse of further high street financial institutions and small businesses unable to survive, not only because of the economic situation but because everyone is holding their money so close to home that cash flow problems are arising and stretching them beyond their means. Small businesses may be too busy but are unable to finance the company’s growth. And, to top it all the banks have decided, in many cases, not to help out in fear of their own safety. All a far cry from the days when growth in the market was supported and a helping hand always available, albeit at the cost of a guarantee or two.

A fairground ride, perilously descending and then recovering to a stable level only to make a sharp turn and start climbing steeply again. Not unlike the scary Space Mountain where, from second to second you are pitched into darkness, a space of uncertainty where the only thing that’s certain is you will end up with a snapshot of your ultimate ride, inflation in the shops deflation in the house prices, inflation in oil deflation in the share prices, a rocky memorable ride not to be forgotten.

Strategic thinking is the way out of this abyss, the old cliché ‘thinking outside the box’ is having its moment,

Theme Traders the London based event and production company can say that taking the unsure economic climate on board at its earliest stage helped them highlight the different sectors that are striving to beat this wicked wolf that is knocking on their door. Their business is thriving, new clients, new projects, more themed events, more launches and more parties. Clients are demanding a high level of creative services from them to use marketing tools, promotions and events to increase awareness, but not simple ones which are hardly worth doing. Who needs  a glass or two of bubbly stuff and a hard sell, but now fully styled focused events targeted at their best clients  which are designed to remind them of their position and to target increased sales and loyalty to their product and brand.

Theme traders also reports that Christmas parties have never been so much in demand, as many businesses neglected to have Summer bashes as thank yous to their employees - Christmas bookings are up on last year and further bookings are coming in fast.  In a despondent market buying into your employees has a double edged effect, it brings a solidarity to the workplace that increases team effort and also recognises the hard work that staff are doing to forward the company through these uncertain times.

Theme Traders is a market leader in events and party planning and has the largest prop hire stock in Europe.

They have a portfolio of the highest level including work for HRH Queen Elizabeth for Party at The Palace

Their turnover for 2008 was 4 mil the current bookings are predicting a turnover for 5mil.
