A horse and her unborn foal have died after being subjected to a vicious attack.The owners of the 19-year-old chestnut mare found her surrounded by blood at a field in Clay Lane, Gainsborough.At the time it was thought she was starting to foal and a vet was called.After being examined by the vet it was found the mare had been attacked and had lost a lot of blood.The mare and her foal both died.Police are now appealing for witnesses and the owners of the horse are offering a £2,500 reward to anyone with information leading to an...
