The remarks that were made by Elaine Paige (Susan Boyle is like a Virus) seem to be following her around like a bad smell, so much so Elaine Paige must be regretting putting her foot in it by making nasty comments about the UK favourite superstar. Elaine Paige quickly backtracked on her remarks after fans of both Elaine Paige and Susan Boyle became disgusted with the slating she gave Britain’s Got Talent runner up. Elaine Paige who thought her remarks were now left in the past was shocked at the public reaction but those remarks have been brought back out of the closet after Britain’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan this week slammed Elaine Paige for making the remarks. Piers Morgan who was shocked by the remarks, especially after she was invited to perform with Susan Boyle on her Christmas Special said Elaine Paige was jealous and mean spirited. The Britain’s Got Talent Judge wrote in his column in the Daily Mail “Elaine Paige has come out with some extraordinarily bitchy remarks about Susan Boyle, saying she's a 'virus' that she 'doesn't feel any pride for'.
"I, of course, presented the TV special at Christmas in which Susan sang a duet with Ms Paige, and got twice the ovation that Susan's idol received."
He added: "This, coupled with the fact that Susan has sold ten million albums and become a global superstar in a way Ms Paige never came close to achieving, may explain her pathetically jealous and mean-spirited hissy fit."
