An amazed bingo playing pensioner has scooped a whopping £11,000 whilst enjoying a game of bingo at his local Mecca bingo club eariler this month. The gentleman said that he was "absolutely gobsmacked" after having won such a large sum of money. The hall that he was playing in is at Penel Orlieu, the gentleman won the prize after calling a full house.
After calming down just a little the old man told the National Bingo that he was, '"absolutely gobsmacked". He had been a member of the bingo hall since 1992 and has played games of bingo there atleast three times a week. The man wishes to remain unnamed.
The manager of the bingo club informed National Bingo that the gentleman really did not know what to say after winning the jackpot.
That evening the full game prize was £30,354. However there were two other players who were also lucky enough to complete a full house thus giving them the fortune of taking home their own slices of the money!
