“Natasha Panas is a fiercely talented, musical intelligence. Never has the influence of Janis Joplin docked in a more lyrically sophisticated and melodically astute way” – David McAlmont

The album features collaborations with renowned songwriters including Felix Howard (Beverly Knight, Jamie Cullum), Paul Simm (Sugababes, Virgin Souls, Amy Winehouse, Neneh Cherry) and the inimitable David McAlmont (of acclaimed duo McAlmont & Butler). McAlmont has also performed with Natasha numerous times, and he provides the backing vocals for the single ‘Kennington’.

Written in memory of a dear friend the title track ‘Yellow Flowers’ seemed the obvious choice to name the album.

The simplicity of the production - piano, drums, upright bass - and its jazzy feel stands out on the album. I have a real soft spot for this track, so when I was having problems thinking of a name for the album, it seemed a logical choice - Natasha Panas

Natasha’s debut album is an impressive testament to the musicianship and the collaboration of some of the industry’s most prestigious and highly respected musicians.

Natasha’s career to date has been brimming with prestigious gigs and brushes with fame, including being invited to play at the Champions League Final in Moscow back in May. Having been support and session musician for a host of superstars, this summer will see Natasha pitch her rightful place at the front of the stage and deliver some sublime keys skills .

Although firmly grounded in music, Natasha has encountered a variety of roles during her career. She performs regularly at The Groucho’s annual charity event for Shelter, has been Vanessa Mae’s backing vocalist, and performed on shows such as Top of the Pops and CD-UK with artists such as Miss Dynamite, Toyah and Darius, with whom she toured for four months. 2007 saw Natasha work as MD on a tour of the musical ‘Hot Flush’, starring Rula Lenska, Sheila Ferguson and Marti Webb. As the tour came to a close Natasha was offered the chance to record the album ‘Yellow Flowers’ with fantastic producer/musician Paul Simm.
