Bliss
Magazine calls on NLP Practitioner expert to help on important feature that
affects young women. A well known NLP Practitioner as seen on television and
always heard on the radio was chosen by Glossy Bliss magazine to help a
vulnerable 15-year-old girl and millions of girls like her to feel more
confident about their bodies.
Leading
NLP Practitioner Claire Hegarty was chosen by National Glossy Magazine ‘Bliss’
to give advice to a 15 year old girl from London who was a size 10 and rates
herself a 3/10 when it came to looks and general appearance as part of a
shocking article which Bliss hopes will give young adults and teenagers a new
positive outlook.
Bliss
magazine asked Claire Hegarty to be part of their feature, which they hope will
change young girls minds, and encourage young girls that they should have
confidence within themselves and should not take notice of the television and
the media when it comes to size o models, claiming this is the normal size.
Young
girls are seeing these models on the television and in magazine and feel that
this is the normal size and they must look like them, which leads to young
girls going without food and hating themselves for the way they look instead of
celebrating the way they look. Millions of young girls around the country are
being affected by size 0 models and feel they should have the same weight and
waistline as them, which can cause young girls to suffer from depression become
anorexic
Bliss
magazine asked Romy a 15 year old girl from London to keep a dairy who
continues to criticize her body, to keep a diary for a few days to find out
what she secretly think about herself and her looks and Bliss and Claire Hegarty
were shocked at the end result of the diary.
One of
the shocking comments made by Romy was on day two.
“I
don’t like what I see. On days like this, I’m much quieter than usual. If I do
some exercise, I know I’LL feel better tomorrow.”
Claire
Hegarty who was also shocked at some of the comments made in the dairy said:
“We wouldn’t
be this bitchy to our worst enemy, so why are we hating on ourselves?
“We all
feel under pressure to look a certain way,” Says Claire Hegarty, Liverpool and
Chester NLP Body Language expert who also presents her own radio show giving
out advice.
“And
the result is that we’re very tough on ourselves. But how we feel and how we
behave is linked. When we’re feeling good, we think differently about how we
look. So by changing the negative things we say to ourselves every day, we
could drastically improve the way we feel about the way we look.”
